Process to set Party Credit Limit in Margbooks

OVERVIEW OF PARTY CREDIT LIMIT IN MARGBOOKS

  • In Margbooks, Party Credit Limit feature allows you to define a maximum credit amount or credit period for your customers or parties. This feature helps you monitor and control the credit extended to each party to ensure timely payments and manage cash flow effectively. 

PROCESS TO SET PARTY CREDIT LIMIT IN MARGBOOKS

  • Firstly, go to Master > Ledger.

  • A 'Ledger Master' window will appear.
  • The user will select the ledger for which credit limit needs to be set.
  • Suppose select 'A2Z Pharmacy' and click on 'Edit' icon.

  • A 'Modify Ledger' window will appear.
  • The user will click on 'Others' tab.

  • In 'Credit Limit' option, the user will click on 'Add Details' button.

  • A 'Limit' window will appear.
  • In 'Credit Limit' option, the user will mention on the bases of Amount /Rs. /Bills /Days' option.
  • Suppose mention Rs. 500.

  • The user will select the bases on which 'Credit Limit Action' needs to be worked.

1) Only Indicate-The software will display a warning popup only when the credit limit amount is exceeded.

2) Follow Strictly -The software will present a warning popup if the credit limit amount is exceeded, and the user will be unable to generate a bill unless they modify the amount.

3) Stop Billing- The software will stop the billing process if the credit limit amount is exceeded.

  • Suppose select 'Only Indicate'.
