Process to Disable Opening Balance From the Group Summary in Marg Books

OVERVIEW OF GROUP SUMMARY IN MARG BOOKS

• Group Summary option in Marg Books facilitates the user in viewing the Account group created through Masters in detail.

• The user can view the debit/credit and closing balance of all the groups created by the organization. Moreover, the user can also view the detailed transactions that have taken place under each of these Account Group.

PROCESS TO ENABLE OPENING BALANCE IN GROUP SUMMARY IN MARG BOOKS

• Firstly, click on the 'Reports'.

• Select 'Group Summary'.

• A 'Group Summary' window will appear.

• Click on ‘Settings’ icon.

• In ‘Show Opening Balance’ option, the user will select 'Yes'.

• Then press 'ESC' key to save the changes.

After following the above steps, an opening balance will get enabled in the group summary.

PROCESS TO DISABLE OPENING BALANCE FROM THE GROUP SUMMARY IN MARG BOOKS

• Firstly, click on the 'Reports'.

• Select 'Group Summary'.

• A 'Group Summary' window will appear.

• Click on ‘Settings’ icon.

• In ‘Show Opening Balance’ option, the user will select 'No'.

• Then press 'ESC' key to save the changes.

After following the above steps, an opening balance will get disabled in the group summary.
