Process to Disable Purchase Type in Purchase Bill in Marg Books

OVERVIEW OF PURCHASE TYPE IN MARG BOOKS

• Purchase Type is basically the classification of Purchase as per the tax system applicable to that Purchase like Local or Central rate of Purchase tax charged and it works bill wise.

• Marg Books creates New Purchase type through which the user can match the bill with that purchase bill which is being received from the customers.

• With the help of this option, the user can enable or disable the purchase type option in purchase bill and select type according to the party.

PROCESS TO ENABLE PURCHASE TYPE IN PURCHASE BILL IN MARG BOOKS

• Go to Purchase >> Bill (+).

• A ‘Purchase Bill’ window will appear.

• Click on the ‘Settings’ icon.

• Select 'Advance Setting'.

• In ‘Ask Purchase Type at the time of billing’ option, the user will select 'Yes'.

• Then press 'ESC' key to save the changes.

• After following the above steps, the Purchase type field will get enabled in the purchase bill.

• Then press 'Spacebar' in order to select the purchase type.

• A 'Purchase Master' window will appear in which the user can select the purchase type as per the requirement.

PROCESS TO DISABLE PURCHASE TYPE IN PURCHASE BILL IN MARG BOOKS

• Go to Purchase >> Bill (+).

• A ‘Purchase Bill’ window will appear.

• Click on the ‘Settings’ icon.

• Select 'Advance Setting'.

• In ‘Ask Purchase Type at the time of billing’ option, the user will select 'No'.

• Then press 'ESC' key to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the Purchase type field will get disabled from the purchase bill.
