Process to Import Item from Excel in Marg Books

OVERVIEW OF ITEM IMPORT FROM EXCEL IN MARG BOOKS

• Marg Books has provided a very beneficial provision in the software through which the user can easily import the data of multiple items through excel at a single point of time. This saves a lot of the time as there is no need to create each & every item in the software. 

• The user can import different details of an item along with its HSN Code, Product’s Company Name, Purchase Rate, etc.

PROCESS TO IMPORT ITEM FROM EXCEL IN MARG BOOKS

• Firstly, go to Master > Inventory Master > Item.

• An 'Item List' window will appear.
• The user will click on 'DropDown' button.

• Now, the user will click on 'Import Items' button.

• An 'Add Bulk Upload' window will appear.
• The user will click on 'Item Master'.

• An 'Item Master' window will appear.
• The user will follow the steps as per showing on the item master window.
• The user will click on 'Download Excel' option.

• An 'Item List' Template will get downloaded.

• The user will enter the Item Data in the downloaded template file.

• Now, the user will click on 'Upload Excel' option in order to upload the item data.

• A 'File Selection' window will appear.
• The user will select the 'Item Data' file which needs to be imported. (as showing in the below fig.).

• An 'Item Import Initiated' pop up will appear.

An 'Item Import Process Start' mail will received in Supervisor ID.

Again, an 'Item Import Successfully' mail will received in Supervisor ID.

After following the above steps, the user can view that the Item will get successfully Imported in the Marg Books.
