With the help of this option in Marg Books, the user can change or maintain the headings of GST in item master. In order to do the same, the user will follow the below steps:

• Go to Master >> Inventory Master >> Item.

• An 'Item List' window will appear.

• Click on 'Create' tab.

• A ‘Create Item’ window will appear.

• Click on ‘Settings’ icon.

• In ‘Heading of GST’ option, the user will click on 'Configure' tab.

• Then a heading of GST settings window will appear with some options which are mentioned below:

1. Heading of GST Central/Igst: In this option, the user can rename the heading of IGST(If required), otherwise keep it as same.

2. Heading of GST Local/Sgst: In this option, the user can rename the heading of SGST(If required), otherwise keep it as same.

3. Heading of GST Cgst: In this option, the user can rename the heading of CGST(If required), otherwise keep it as same.

4. Heading of GST Cess: In this option, the user can rename the heading of CESS(If required), otherwise keep it as same.

5. Heading of GST Additional Cess: In this option, the user can rename the heading of Additional CESS(If required), otherwise keep it as same.

• Then click on 'Save' to save the changes.

• Then press ESC key to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the user can rename/maintain the heading of GST in item master as per the requirement.
