With the help of this option in Marg Books, the user can set the default searching base for item i.e. Description, Barcode and Item code as per the requirement.

In order to set item default searching base, the user will follow the below steps:

• Go to Master >> Inventory Master >> Item.

• An ‘Item List’ window will appear.

• Click on ‘Settings’ icon.

• In ‘Default Search By in Item list? ’ option, the user will select date default search base for item as per the requirement.

• Suppose select 'Description'.

• Now the user will press 'ESC' key to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the user can set the default searching base for item in Marg books.

The user will search the item on the basis of description.
