OVERVIEW & NEED TO CREATE AREA IN MARG BOOKS

• Area covers all those locations which a businessman operates along with his clients for the purpose of doing business.

• With Marg Books, the user can allot area to their respective salesman and can also view reports, maintain price list area wise & other records.

• Area Option in Marg Books also enables the user to easily modify and delete any area as per the requirement.

PROCESS OF CREATION OF AREA IN MARG BOOKS

• Go to Master >> Other Master >> Area.

• A window of ‘Area List’ window will appear

• In order to create a new area press ‘F2’ function key or click on ‘Create’ tab.

• A ‘Create’ window will appear with different fields:

• Route Name: The user will select the name of the Route from the dropdown as per the requirement.

• Suppose the user needs to allot an Area ‘Karol Bagh’ to the Salesman. Karol Bagh is a part of Central Delhi, so select ‘Central Delhi’.

The user can create new Route by clicking on ‘Create New’ from the dropdown of ‘Route Name’ field.

• Then Press enter.

• Area: The user will mention ‘Karol Bagh’.

• Then click on ‘Save’ tab.

• A pop up message of ‘Record Saved Successfully’ will appear.

• So in this way the Area will get created and the user can also create multiple route wise area in Marg Books.

PROCESS TO MODIFY AN AREA IN MARG BOOKS

• Go to Master >> Other Master >> Area.

• A window of ‘Area List’ will appear

• In order to modify an area, the user will click on ‘edit’ icon against that particular area which needs to be modified.

• Suppose click on ‘Lajpat Nagar’.

• A ‘Modify’ window will appear.

• The user will modify/change the Area as per the requirement.

• Then click on ‘Update’.

PROCESS TO DELETE AN AREA IN MARG BOOKS

• Go to Master >> Other Master >> Area.

• A window of ‘Area List’ will appear

• In order to delete an Area, the user will click on ‘delete’ icon against that Area which needs to be deleted.

• Suppose click on ‘Greater Kailash’.

• A ‘Confirmation’ window will appear i.e. ‘Are you sure you want to delete the selected Record?’

• Click on ‘Yes’.

• Then the selected Area will get deleted from the list.
