If an alert of ' Error Regenerating Auth. Token ' appears while uploading e - Invoice then how to resolve it in Marg Books ?

Cause:

1. The user needs to Regenerate API Credentials.

2. This alert appears if the user has mentioned the wrong login credentials of E-Invoice in Marg Books.

3. This issue can also appear when there is any space left before the User ID of the E-invoice.

Solution:

In order to resolve 'Error Generating Auth Token', the user needs to follow the below steps:

  • Now click on 'Login'.

  • The user will mention the User ID / Password and captcha of the Einvoice Panel.
  • Click on 'Login'.

  • Go to API Registration > User Credentials > Change API Password.

  • The user will get an OTP on the registered mobile number.
  • Mention the OTP and click on 'Verify OTP' button.

  • Click on 'Ok'.

  • In 'User Name', select the user id for which the password needs to be changed.

  • In 'New-Password', mention the New Password as per the requirement.

  • In 'Re-enter New Password' option, again mention the new password.
  • Click on 'Submit' button.

  • The user will open the software and click on 'Settings' icon.

  • In 'Control Room' option, the user will select 'Configure' button.

  • The user will search 'EInvoice'.

  • In 'E-Invoice' option, the user will click on 'Configure' button.

  • Now the user will mention the Username and New Password generated for GSP registration.

Note: The user needs to make sure that there should not any space before the 'User Name'.

  • Then, press 'ESC' key.

  • The user will click on 'Save' button.

  • Again, press 'ESC' key.

  • Then, click on 'Ok' button.

After following the above steps, the alert of 'Error Regenerating Auth. Token' will get resolved while Uploading e -Invoice in Marg Books.
