Overview of Ledger Import from Excel in MargBooks

• MargBooks has provided a very beneficial provision in the software through which the user can easily import the data of multiple ledgers by using an excel method only at a single point of time. This saves a lot of the time as there is no need to create a ledger for each & every party in the software. 
• Along with it, the user can also maintain the data of ledgers on the basis of predefined ledger templates provided in MargBooks. 
• Click on 3 horizontal lines (as shown below) and select ‘Download Template’ option.

PROCESS TO IMPORT LEDGER FROM EXCEL IN MARGBOOKS

• Go to Master > Account Master > Ledger .

• A 'Ledger Master' window will appear.
• The user will click on 'DropDown' button.

• Now, the user will click on 'Import Ledgers' button.

• A 'Ledger Master' window will appear.
• The user will follow the steps as shown on the ledger master window.
• The user will click on 'Download Excel' option.

• A 'Ledger Master' template will get downloaded.

• The user will enter the Ledger Data in the downloaded template file.

• Now, the user will click on 'Upload Excel' option to upload the ledger data.

• The user will select the 'Ledger Data' file which needs to be imported. (as shown in the below Image).

• A 'Ledger Import is initiated' pop up will appear.
• The Map Fields window will appear. Click on Verify to validate the mapped fields, then click on Import to start the Ledger Import process.

• A 'Ledger Import Process Start' mail will received in Supervisor ID.

• Again, an 'Ledger Import Successfully' mail will received in Supervisor ID.

After following the above steps, the user can view Ledger Data will get Imported from Excel in Marg Books.
