• Firstly, go to Master > Inventory Master > Item.

• An 'Item List' window will appear.
• The user will select the item whose tax category needs to be changed.
• Suppose select 'Acnederm Lot' and press 'F3' key on it.

• A 'Modify Item' window will appear.
• In 'Tax Category' option, the user will select the tax category as per the requirement.
• Suppose select 'GST Sale-6%'.

• An 'Applicable From' window will appear.
• In 'Effective From' option, the user will select the date from which the new tax will be applicable.
• The user will click on 'Ok'.

• Now, the user will click on 'Update' button.

After following the above steps, the user can view selected Item Tax Category will get changed in Marg Books.
