Process to Create a Customer in Billing General Setup in MargBooks

In MargBooks, user can create a customer in two ways:

• From the Customer Master – Create a customer record directly from the Master section by entering the required customer details.
• While Creating a Sale Bill – Create a new customer instantly during sale bill entry without leaving the billing screen.

Answer 1:- Create a Customer from the Customer Master.

• Go to 'Master'.

• User will click on 'Other Master'.

• Click on 'Customer'.

• User will view the Customer List.
• User will click the 'Create' button or press 'F2' key to create a new customer.

• Mobile No.:- Enter the customer's mobile number. Suppose: 9999922299.
• ID:- The Customer ID is auto-generated by the software. Users can change it if required.
• Name:- Enter the customer's name. Suppose: Rama Shanker.
• Gender:- Select the customer's gender from the drop-down list. Suppose: Male.
• Age:- Enter the customer's age. Suppose: 45.
• Ledger:- The Cash Account ledger is selected automatically by default. Users can change it if required.

• User will click on 'More Option'.

• User can enter the remaining customer details as per the requirement.

• Click on 'Contact Details'.

• User will enter the required contact details and click the 'Save' button.

Answer 2:- Create a Customer While Creating a Sale Bill

• User will open 'Sale Bill Creation window'.
• In the 'Mobile Number' field or 'Customer Name field' press 'Spacebar' key to search for an existing customer or create a new customer.

• User will view the Customer List.
• User will click the 'Create' button or press 'F2' key to create a new customer.

• Following the above steps, the user can easily create a customer.

After following the above steps, the user can successfully create and save a customer in MargBooks.
