Process to Create a Patient in the Retail Pharmacy Setup in MargBooks

In MargBooks, the user can create a patient in two ways:

• From the Patient Master – Create a patient record directly from the Master section by entering the required patient details.
• While Creating a Sale Bill – Create a new patient instantly during sale bill entry without leaving the billing screen.

Answer 1:- Create a Patient from the Patient Master.

• Go to 'Master'.

• User will click on 'Other Master'.

• Click on 'Patient'.

• User will view the Patient List.
• User will click the 'Create' button or press 'F2' key to create a new patient.

• Mobile No.:- Enter the patient's mobile number. Suppose: 8882222229.
• Name:- Enter the patient's name. Suppose: Anshul.
• Gender:- Select the patient's gender from the drop-down list. Suppose: Male.
• Age:- Enter the patient's age. Suppose: 35.
• Ledger:- The Cash Account ledger is selected automatically by default. Users can change it if required.

• User will click on 'More Option'.

• User can enter the remaining patient details as per the requirement.

• Click on 'Contact Details'.

• User will enter the required contact details and click the 'Save' button.

Answer 2:- Create a Patient While Creating a Sale Bill

• User will open the Sale Bill Creation window.
• In the Mobile Number field or Patient Name field, press the 'Spacebar' key to search for an existing patient or create a new patient.

• ser will view the Patient List.
• User will click the 'Create' button or press 'F2' key to create a new patient.

• Following the above steps, the user can easily create a patient.

After following the above steps, the user can successfully create and save a patient in MargBooks.
