Process to Create a Buy X Get Y Free Scheme in MargBooks

• Go to Master > Sales Promotions.

• Click on 'Create' button or press 'F2' key.

• User will mention ' Scheme Name' as per requirement.
• Select 'Buy X Get Y Free' from the Scheme Type dropdown.
• User will select 'Company' from the Selection Criteria dropdown.

• The user will specify the scheme applicability date range and time as per the scheme requirements, then click on 'Go To Grid' or press the 'F10' key.
• The user will select the Company on which the scheme will be applied.
• On this screen scheme created, if the Basis is 'Equal to' and the total item quantity sold reaches the specified value, MargBooks automatically converts 1 item to free.

• In this screen, user can view Basis 'Greater than and equal to' the total quantity will be triggered at 12 as per scheme creation. At that time, 2 quantities will be automatically converted into free quantity, and the sold quantity will remain 10.

• On this screen, the user can view the bill created item’s company-wise.
• The scheme applied is Equal To, meaning the free item is applied only when the total item quantity matches the scheme exactly.
• The bill contains 5 qty of shirts, 3 qty of women’s trousers, and 2 qty of kids’ shirts, making the total triggered quantity 10.
• MargBooks automatically adjusts the grid for shirts to 4 sale qty and 1 free qty.
• The shirt is selected as the free item because it has the lowest price among the three items.

• In this invoice, if the total quantity reaches 12 and the cheapest free quantity is 2, the scheme is automatically applied at the time of billing.
• Since the scheme is set as 'greater than or equal to,' when the total quantity reaches 24, the free quantity automatically updates to 4.

• After following the above steps, the user can easily create a Buy X Get Y Free scheme in MargBooks.
• User can view the applicable scheme by clicking on 'Load Scheme'.
• The green tick indicates which scheme is applied on the bill.
