Overview of Grade Master in MargHR

In MargHR, Employee Grade classifies staff based on roles and hierarchy, responsibilities, and HR policies. Payroll Grade, on the other hand, groups employees by salary structure, including pay bands, allowances, and deductions. While employee grade defines position levels, payroll grade ensures standardized and compliant salary processing.

Process to Create Employee Grade in MargHR

• Go to Master > Employee > Grade.

• The user will click on 'Create' button or press 'F2' key.

• In 'Grade' option, the user will enter the Name of Grade as per the requirement.
• Suppose enter 'Grade C'.

• In 'Type' option, the user will select 'Employee'.

• In 'Notice Period' option, the default period will auto pick and the user can change it as per the requirement.

• In 'Grade Level' option, the user will enter the level of Grade as per the requirement.
• Suppose enter '4'.

• If the user wants to give Bonus in the created Grade, then the user will place a Tick mark in the Checkbox.
• Also, the user will select the Designation for which Bonus is applicable. 

• Click on 'Save' button.

After following the above steps, the user can view that Employee Grade will be created in MargHR.

Process to Create Payroll Grade in MargHR

• Go to Master > Employee > Grade.

• The user will click on 'Create' button or press 'F2' key.

• In 'Grade' option, the user will enter the Name of Grade as per the requirement.
• Suppose enter 'Grade C1'.

• In 'Type' option, the user will select 'Payroll'.

• In 'Grade Level' option, the user will enter the Payroll level of Grade as per the requirement.
• Suppose enter '2' and click on 'Save' button.

After following the above steps, the user can view that Payroll Grade will get created in MargHR.
