1. Go to Import and Export > Update Employee Master thru Excel.Press Enter.
2. An update employee master utility window will appear. Click on 'Create Template'.
3. A directory window will appear in which user will select the location where user wants to save excel.
4. Then click on Ok.
5. After following the above steps excel file will export on selected location.
Now, the user needs to enter the data i.e.Card number,father's name etc. according to the requirement in exported excel file then save it on the same location.
After saving the file the user needs to follow the below steps to update employee master from excel:
1. Go to Import and Export > Update Employee Master thru Excel.Press Enter.
2. An update employee master utility window will appear. Click on Browse.
3. A directory window will appear in which the user has to select the excel which is exported from the software.
4. Then click on Select.
5. A Marg payroll window will appear in which user will click on 'Yes' to map column with save structure.
6. Now, the user needs to map Description field with the Target field.
7. After map all the fields then the user will click on 'Update Now' tab.
8. Then click on 'Yes' under Marg payroll window to update employee master.
After following the above steps Employee master get updated.
