Overview Of Volume Discount In Marg Books

• Volume discount refers to the usage of discounted prices to incentivize an individual or a business to purchase a particular good in a large quantity at one go.
• When a customer purchases a product in multiple units or an outsized enough quantity directly , the vendor rewards the customer by selling at a reduced price for every group of goods purchased.
• With the help of this option in Mag Books, the user can enable or disable volume discount on different basis like Lumpsum, Per unit and Percentage.

Process To Enable Volume Discount In Marg Books

• Click on the ‘Settings’ Icon.

• In 'Control Room' option, the user will click on ‘Configure’ button.

• The user will search ‘Volume'.

• In ‘Calculate Volume Discount In’ option, the user will select on which the discount needs to be calculated, i.e. 1st unit, 2nd unit, etc.
• Suppose select '1st Unit'.

• In ‘Volume Discount 1st’ option, the user will select volume discount type as per the requirement.

a. Per Unit: Select this option, if the user needs to calculate the discount of the basis of item quantity.

b. Lumpsum: Select this option, if the user needs to calculate the discount of the basis of amount.

c. Percentage: Select this option, if the user needs to calculate the discount in percentage.

Suppose select 'perUnit'.

• Now, the user will press 'ESC' key.

• Select ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

• Click on 'OK' button.

After following the above steps, the user can view that Volume Discount Column will get enabled while Billing in Marg Books.

Process To Disable Volume Discount In Marg Books

• Click on the ‘Settings’ Icon.

• In 'Control Room' option, the user will click on ‘Configure’ button.

• The user will search ‘Volume'.

• In ‘Volume Discount 1st’ option, the user will select 'No'.

• Now, the user will press 'ESC' key.

• Select ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

• Click on 'OK' button.

After following the above steps, the user can Disable Volume discount in Marg Books.
