OVERVIEW / BENEFIT OF TRANSPORT MASTER IN MARG BOOKS

The users can easily manage their Transport Details in Marg Books. The software provides a master where users can maintain essential information such as name, address, mobile number, GST number, etc. Once entered, this information can be conveniently loaded into all necessary bills and used when generating E-way bills.

For Example :

Meet Vanya, a small business owner who ships goods to customers often. Using Marg Books' Transport Master, Vanya adds her preferred transporters' details, like GST numbers and vehicle information, to the system. When making invoices or E-way bills, Vanya picks the transporter from the master list, saving time and ensuring accurate shipment documentation.

Let's implement the Transporter Process in Marg Books.

PROCESS TO ENABLE TRANSPORT MASTER IN MARG BOOKS

Firstly, click on 'Settings' icon.

In 'Control Room' option, the user will click on 'Configure' button.

The user will search 'Transport'.

In 'Transport Required' option, the user will select 'Yes'.

The user will press 'ESC' key.

Click on 'Save' button.

Click on 'Ok' button.

After following the above steps, the user can view the Transport Master will get Enabled in Marg Books.

PROCESS TO CREATE TRANSPORTER IN MARG BOOKS

Go to 'Master > Other Master > Transport'.

The user will click on 'Create' button in order to create transporter.

In 'Name' field, the user will enter transporter name as per the requirement.
Suppose enter 'Devbhoomi Transportation'.

In order to enter Transporter Other Details, place a 'Tick' mark against 'More Options'.

The user will enter other field details as per the requirement :

a. Address : The user will enter Transporter Address.

b. State: The user will enter Transporter State.

Suppose select 'Uttarakhand'.

c. Pin Code: The user will enter Transporter Pin Code.

d. Phone No.: The user will enter Transporter Phone No.

e. Mobile No.: The user will enter Transporter Mobile No.

f. Mode: The user will select Mode of Transporter i.e. Road, Air, Rail & Sea etc.

g. Vehicle No.: The user will enter Transport Vehicle No.

h. Status: The user will select whether the transport is continued or discontinued in working.

i. GST No.: The user will enter Transporter GST No.

Now, click on 'Save' button.

After following the above steps, the user can view the Transporter will get Created in Marg Books.

PROCESS TO CREATE BILL WITH TRANSPORTER DETAILS IN MARG BOOKS

Now, suppose the user is creating a bill, and the item is being shipped to the party's address. After loading items and party details, the user will press 'Tab' key.

Click on 'Save' button.

The user will click on 'Transport Detail' tab.

The user will press 'SpaceBar' key on 'Transporter field in order to select transporter.
Suppose select 'Devbhoomi Transportation'.

Other Details related to the transporter will be automatically fetched, i.e., GSTIN, mode, and vehicle number.

The user will enter the remaining information as per the requirement, such as distance, vehicle type, etc.

The user will click on 'Save' button.

After following the above steps, the user can Create Bill with Transport Details in Marg Books.
