• A Receipt Voucher is prepared when a firm receives money in cash, by cheque, or from any other source, such as a customer or supplier. It serves as proof of the money received, ensuring accurate accounting.
• In the Marg Books App, users can create receipt voucher entries to maintain detailed records of cash or cheque transactions.

Process to create Receipt Voucher in Marg Books App

• Firstly, click on 'More' tab.

• Then, click on 'Accounting Transaction > Receipt'.

• Click on 'Create New' button.

• The user can view 'Receipt Voucher No.' and 'Date,' which will be auto-filled but can be changed as per the requirement.

• The user will click on 'Select Ledger' field.

• The user will select the ledger from which the payment needs to be received.
• Suppose select 'A1 Pharma'.

• In 'Payment Type' field, the user will select the mode through which the payment needs to be received.

• Suppose select 'Cash Account'.

• In 'Received' option, the user will enter the amount that has been received from the party.

• Suppose enter '3114' Amount.

• In 'Narration' field, the user will enter the narration for records as per the requirement.
• Then, click on 'Save' button.

After following the above steps, the user can view Receipt Voucher will get created in Marg Books App.
