OVERVIEW OF ROUTE OPTION IN MARG BOOKS

• Route is generally defined as a way/journey taken from a starting point to the destination which is used in the similar manner in Marg Books.

• With the help of Route Master option, the user can create single & multiple routes, Allot Area wise Salesman and easily maintain the record of each salesman.

• It provides the users a detailed and enhanced report for controlling and managing the business in an appropriate manner.

• Route Option in Marg Books also enables the user to easily modify and delete route as per the requirement.

PROCESS TO CREATE ROUTE IN MARG BOOKS

• Go to Masters >> Other Master >> Route

• A ‘Route List’ window will appear.

• In order to create a new Route, click on ‘Create’ tab.

• A ‘Create Route’ window will appear.

• Mention any Route as per the requirement.

• Suppose the user needs to allot one area (Lajpat Nagar) to one Salesman and other area (Greater Kailash) to another Salesman. Now both areas are a part of ‘South Delhi’.

• So mention ‘South Delhi’ in ‘Route’ field.

• Then click on ‘Save’ tab to save the created Route.

• The user can view that the Route has been created.

• Similarly, the user can create Multiple Routes in Marg Books i.e. North Delhi, Central Delhi, East Delhi, etc.

PROCESS TO MODIFY ROUTE IN MARG BOOKS

• Go to Masters >> Other Master >> Route.

• In order to modify a Route, click on the ‘Edit’ icon.

• Now the user will modify the Route i.e. ‘Central Delhi’ to ‘North West DL’ as per the requirement.

• Then click on ‘Update’ to update the required changes.

PROCESS TO DELETE ROUTE IN MARG BOOKS

If the user has already created an Area for a particular Route then that Route cannot be deleted .

• Go to Masters >> Other Master >> Route.

• In order to Delete a Route, click on the ‘Delete' icon.

• A ‘Confirmation’ window i.e. Are you sure you want to delete the selected Record?’ window will appear.

• Click on ‘Yes’ and that particular Route will get deleted.
