Cause:

This error appears when the user has not entered any character at the start of the bill number.

Solution:

  • Firstly, click on 'Sale > Bill'.

  • The user will select bill for which bill number needs to be changed.
  • Suppose select 'Bill Number 0000083' and press 'F3' key or click on 'Edit' icon.

  • The user will enter any character at the start of the bill number.
  • Suppose enter 'A'.

  • Then, click on 'Save' button.

  • The user will click on 'Yes' button to generate e-Invoice.

After following the above steps, the user can view the Error Of 'IRP The Field of Document Number Must Match The Regular Expression will get resolved in Marg Books.
