Overview Of Paytm Device in MargBooks

In Marg Books, paytm devices can be connected to allow seamless digital payments during billing. These include card swipe machines and UPI scanners. Users can receive payments instantly, avoiding the need for manual cash entries.

Process to Integrate Paytm Device in the MargBooks

• The user need to click on 'Setting' icon from the Dashboard.

• Click on 'Configure' button.

• The user will select 'Yes' Option 

• Press 'ESC' key.

• Click on 'Save' button to save the changes.

• Click on 'OK' button.

• Go to Digital > Payment Device. 

• The user will select the branch as per the requirement.
• Suppose selected 'Chemist' branch.

• Click on 'Create' button.

Add Payment Device

a. User: The user will select the operator who will be using the payment device for transactions.

b. Company: The user will select the branch to which the payment device is to be linked in the software.

c. Bank Account: Select the bank account where the received payments will be settled.

d. Merchante ID: The user will enter the unique Merchant ID provided by the payment service provider such as Paytm.

e. Merchante Key: The user will enter the secure Merchant Key shared by the payment gateway for transaction authentication.

f. Platform: Select the payment platform (such as Paytm) that will be used to process transactions.

g. Device Type: The user will select the wireless POS option.

• A unique ID must be specified by the user.
• Click on 'Save' button.

• The user can view that the paytm device has been successfully configured.

Note: In order to do this process, the Mode of Payment window must be enabled. To know the process to enable mode of Payment, the user willclick here. 

Process of UPI Payment in MargBooks

• The user will create the Sale bill and click on the 'Save' button.
• Then, a mode of payment window will appear in which the user will select the UPI payment option.

• A 'Card/UPI' pop-up will appear.

• The user can view that payment QR code will get displayed on the payment device.

• The user can view a 'Payment Successful' pop-up on the payment device after completing the transaction.

• A 'Sale Bill Saved Successfully' popup will appear.

After following the above steps, the user can create Sale bill with UPI payment option in MargBooks.
