Overview of Own Email ID

  • Marg Wallet provides the flexibility to activate or deactivate services as needed. The user can access a range of services directly through Marg ERP Software including Bulk GSTIN Verification, PDF Import, WhatsApp, Email, SMS, Smart Documents, and more.
  • Now, through the Email Setup Plan, the user can send bills and all types of emails, including Outstanding Payment Reminders, using their own email ID, such as Gmail or Yahoo.

Process to Activate Email Service in Marg Wallet

Note: Firstly, the user needs to Activate Marg Wallet.

  • Go to Digital > Marg Wallet > Activate Services.

  • Click on 'SMS/Email/WhatsApp'.

  • Now, the user will place a check mark on 'Email' service.
  • Click on 'Submit' button.

  • Now, click on 'Email Setup' button.

  • In 'Email ID' field, the user will enter the Gmail ID through which bills, outstanding payment reminders, etc., need to be sent to the party.
  • In 'App Password' field, the user will enter the app password, which will be generated in the Gmail ID.

In order to generate an App Password, the user will follow the steps mentioned below.

  • Firstly, the user will open the Gmail ID which needs to be configured.
  • The user will click on 'Profile Icon' on the top right side of the email id.

  • The user will click on 'Manage your Google Account'.

  • The user will click on 'Security' tab in order to enable 2 step verification.

  • The user will click on '2-Step Verification' option.

  • '2-Step Verification' window will appear.
  • The user will click on 'Get Started' button.

  • Now, in order to verify, the user will enter the password and click on 'Next' button.

  • The user will click on 'Continue' button.

  • The user will enter the 'Mobile Number' which is linked with the e-mail id.
  • In 'How do you want to get codes?' option, the user will place a 'Tick' mark against in which mode they will receive codes i.e. via text message or phone call.
  • Suppose tick on 'Text Message' and click on 'Send' button. 

  • The user will enter the 'Verification Code' and click on 'Next' button.

  • Now, the user will click on 'Turn On' button.

  • The user can view that the 2-Step Verification will get enabled.
  • Again, the user will click on '2-Step Verification' option.

  • In '2-Step Verification' window, the user will scroll down and click on 'App Passwords' option.

In Case 'App Password' option does not display in 2-Step Verification'.

  • Search 'App' after entering in the 'Security' Tab and click on 'App Passwords'.

  • In 'App Name' field, the user will enter 'Marg ERP' and click on 'Create' button.

Fig 1. The user can view that the password is shown in 'Generate App Password' window and they can choose to either copy it or capture a photo of the generated password.

Note: This Password will only show once, that's why save it for future use.

  • The user will enter Gmail ID & App Password.
  • Then, click on 'Submit' button.

Process to Send Bill Through Own Gmail ID in Marg Wallet

  • The user will create the sale bill as per the requirement, and while saving the bill, select 'Yes' in the 'Send Email' option.

After following the above steps, the user can view the Email will be Sent through their Own Gmail ID in Marg Wallet.
