How to fix ' Unable to Update Server ' which appears while registering Marg Wallet ?

While registering Marg Wallet, if an alert of 'Unable to update Server' appears then it can be resolved easily.

Cause:

1. This issue appears when the Wallet ID is Blank in the company's Control Room.

2. If while restoring a Backup user created a new one in that case Sync ID generates the Same.

Solution:

Case 1. If the Wallet ID is Blank in the company's control room, then mention the wallet ID.

  • Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.

  • A 'Control Room' window will appear.
  • The user will select ‘Search in all’. 

  • A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will search 'Wallet'.
  • Now click on ‘Accept’.

  • In 'Marg Wallet ID', option the user can view Wallet ID is Blank.

  • Mention the Wallet ID.

  • The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

  • Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

Case 2.

  • If the Company's Sync ID is the same, the user needs to add a character in Sync ID to make it different.

Note: The user needs to make sure that E-Business or ECODE is not in use, as any change in Sync ID will affect the E-Business or ECODE.

  • Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.

  • A 'Control Room' window will appear.
  • The user will select ‘Search in all’. 

  • A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will search 'Unique'.
  • Now click on ‘Accept’.

  • In 'My Data Sync Unique Key', option the user will mention the Character as per the requirement.
  • Suppose the user mentions '5'.

  • The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

  • Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the user can Register Marg Wallet.
