If ' Distance Error ' appear while uploading e-Way Bill on portal then how to resolve it in Marg Software ?

Cause

This error occurs due to wrong distance mention in E-way bill detail.

Solution

1. Firstly, Go to http://ewaybillgst.gov.in/.

2. An E-Way bill system window will appear. Click on Search tab.

3. Select Pin to Pin distance.

2. An Pin to in distance window will appear.

  • In 'Enter Dispatch from Pincode', the user will enter dispatch pincode.
  • In 'Enter Ship To Pincode', the user will enter shipping pincode.

3. Now, the user will enter captcha code and click on Go to calculate distance .

4. Then user will enter that distance in E-way bill detail and upload again on portal.

Ans.2

1. Go to Transactions > SaleModify Bill. Press Enter.

2. A ‘Modify’ window will appear in which user will select the options as per the Requirement i.e. bill no, bill date, All time etc.

3. A  ‘Sale Book As On’ window will appear. Press F4 on that bill in which Distance error is appearing while upload on E-way bill portal.

4. An E-way bill window will appear. Select E-way bill Generation

5. Thereafter, an E-way bill detail window will appear. Click on Edit tab.

6. Click on 'Calculate Distance'.

After following the above steps user will redirect on E-way bill portal, then the user will follow the 1st process to calculate distance.
