In Marg Software if while using conversion option an alert display 'You are not Authorised to use this option' then this issue can be resolved:

In order to resolve 'You are not Authorised to use this option', the user needs to follow the below steps.

• Go to Masters > Passwords & Powers > Operator's.

• A 'Password & Authority' window will appear.

• Select the user to make the desired changes. Then Press 'Enter' key.

• A 'Powers' window will appear in which the user will select ‘Add-ons/Paid Features’.

• An 'Add-ons/Paid Features' window will appear on which the user will click on 'Accept'.

• In 'Bill of Material (BOM General Mfg) Y-Issue/Receipt R-Direct B-Both' option,user will select 'Y'.

• In 'Bill of Material (BOM) Reverse Manufacturing',option,user will select 'Y'.

• In 'Meterial Issue',option,user will select 'Y'.

• In 'Consumption', option,user will select 'Y'.

• In 'Manufacturing/Issue Formulas', option,user will select 'Y'.

• In 'Receive', option user will select 'Y'.

Note: The user need to make sure that to use the option of conversion, all the above mentioned optioned will be selected as 'Y' 

• The user will now press 'ESC' key.

• Again press 'ESC' key and then click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

• A 'Powers Change' POP-UP will appear in which the user will press 'ESC' key.

• Again Press 'ESC' key and click on ‘Yes’.

• Now in order to Re- login, the user will press 'Ctrl+U' key on the main screen of the software. 

• A 'Change User' window will appear in which the user will enter the User ID and Password.

• A 'Change User' window will appear in which the user will press 'ESC' key.

After following the above steps, the user can use Conversion option in Marg Software.
