Overview: With the help of Marg software, the user can prohibit a selected ledger for multiple reasons.

Suppose, the user has a party who has already crossed the credit limit. Now, the user wants that the software must not allow to create the sale bill of that particular party till its dues are not completed. 

In order to prohibit the selected ledger, the user needs to follow the below mentioned steps:

• Go to Books > All Ledgers and then press Enter.

• Then a “Ledger Accounts” window will appear.

• Select the Ledger and press F3 on the Selected Ledger.

• A “Selected Ledger” Window will appear for example the user has selected ‘Ahuja Medicine Centre’.

• Then click on “Ledger Detail”.

• A “Modify Ledger” window will appear.

• Click on “Modify” to make the changes in the ledger as per the requirement.

• Now, the user will select ‘Prohibited’ in “Ledger Type” field.

• Then press “Ctrl +W” to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the user can prohibit the selected ledger.
