In order to Index Ledger Transaction , the user needs to follow the below steps :

• Go to Books > All Ledgers.

• A 'Ledger Accounts' window will appear.

• Press 'Enter' on the selected ledger whose transactions need to be indexed.

• Suppose select 'Ahuja Medicine Centre'.

• A 'Ledger Display' window will appear .

• Feed Date Range and then click on the 'Ledger' button.

• Then a ' Party Transaction' window will appear.

• Press 'F6'  key to index the transactions.

• In 'Index On' option, the user will select index filters i.e. Date, Remark etc. as per the requirement.

• Suppose select 'Debit'.

• Then keep pressing 'Enter'.

• A 'Date Range' window will appear.

• Feed Date Range and press 'Enter' to view the report.

After following the above steps, the transaction will get indexed on the basis of debit value.
