• Go to Books > Interest Reports > Ledger Interest.

• A 'Ledger Interest' window will appear.

• The user will select 'Single Party'.

• A 'Select Party' window will appear.

• The user will press 'Enter' key on the particular party whose interest needs to be charged.

• Suppose select 'Rajiv Arora'.

An 'Interest' window will appear where the user will select options as per the requirement.

a. Days: The user will select the days in a year for interest calculation as per the requirement.

b. From: Mention from which date the interest needs to be calculate.

c. To: Mention till which date the interest needs to be calculate.

d. Opening Days On: If the user needs to include the first day on which bill was created in interest calculation then select '1' otherwise select '2'.

e. Interest: The software will auto pick the Interest Rate as mentioned in Party Ledger (If the user needs to change the rate it can be changed as per the requirement).

Note: The user can mention the Credit Days Limit and Interest Rate in Party Ledger.

• Suppose mention '24' and keep press 'Enter' key.

• A window will appear with the party transaction details.

• The user will press 'ESC' key.

• In 'Save in Accounts', the user will select 'Yes' and press 'Enter' key.

• A 'Voucher Entry' window will appear.

• In 'Date', the software will auto pick the date which was mentioned to calculate interest.

• Press 'Enter' key.

• The entry will get auto pass (as shown in below image) keep pressing 'Enter' key.

• Now the user will click on 'Save' to save the entry.

After following the above steps, the user can view interest for selected party will get charged in Marg Software.
