If old and new margin does not display on batch detail window at the time of creating Purchase in Marg Software

If at the time of creating purchase entry, 'Old and New' margin doesn't display on batch detail window, then this issue can easily be resolved in Marg Software.

In order to resolve this issue, the user needs to follow the below steps:

  • Firstly, Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room. Press 'Enter'.


  • A 'Control Room' window will appear.
  • The user will select ‘Search in all’. Press 'Enter'.

  • A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will search 'Old Rate'.
  • Now click on ‘Accept’.

  • An 'Old Rate' window will appear.
  • In 'Current & Old Margin in Batch Window Y-MRP P-P.Rate X-Not Required' option, the user needs to select the option as per requirement.
  • If user need to view margin on the basis of  Purchase rate then select 'P' and if need to be viewed on the basis of M.R.P then select 'Y'.
  • Suppose user needs to view margin on the basis of Purchase Rate so selected 'P'

  • The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

  • Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, old and new margin will get displayed in batch detail window at the time of creating purchase bill in Marg Software.
