In Marg Software, if free qty is not making any effect on the stock position i.e. the stock is neither decreasing in case of Sale nor increasing in case of purchase then this issue can be resolved easily.

In order to Add or Less Free Qty in Stock, the user needs to follow the below steps:

• A 'Control Room' window will appear.

• The user will select ‘Search in all’.

• A 'Controls' window will appear.

• The user will search 'Free Convert'.

• A 'Free Convert' window will appear.

• In 'FREE Qty. convert in Amount (Net) Y-Both S-Sale P-Purchase' option, the user will select 'N'.

• The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

• Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

• Now suppose the user has created the purchase bill of the item with free qty '10'.

After following the above steps, the software will Add the free qty in the main stock i.e. of Paracetamol (100+10 = 110).
