If at the time of creating bill, software automatically picks the value in BED (Bed Excise Duty) then how to resolve it in Marg Software?

If at the time of creating bill, if software automatically value pick in BED (Bed Excise Duty) in sale bill, then this issue can be resolved:

In order to resolve the issue, the user will follow the below steps:

  • Firstly, Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room. Press 'Enter'.


  • A 'Control Room' window will appear.
  • The user will select ‘BED/Service tax'. Press 'Enter'.

  • A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will click on 'Accept'.

  • A 'BED/Service' window will appear.
  • In 'Bed/Service Gst %' option, the user will remove the value (which has been mention in the option).
  • Suppose,remove 10%.

  • The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

  • Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the software will not default value pick in BED (Bed Excise Duty)


Ans.2

1. Go to Transactions > Sale > Modify Bill.

2. A 'Modify' window appears in which user will select 'All Time' and then press 'Page Down' key.

3. A 'Sale Book As On'  window appears in which user will press 'Enter' on selected entry which bill BED value show.

4. Now, click on 'Modify'.

5. Now, the user will keep pressing 'Enter' and when the cursor will stop on item qty then the user has to press 'F2' function key on qty field.

6. An 'Item Levies' window appear in which user will Remove the BED charges which is entered beside of the B.E.D field and press 'Page Down' key.

7. Then press 'Ctrl+W' at the end of the item to save changes.
