With the help of 'Production Planning' report of Marg Software, the user can easily determine the list & the counts of the products required to generate final product. Also, the software will generate the separate report by considering the current stock of the user as well as the stock pending with the production department (If any).

A. From the Current stock

• Go to Transactions > BOM > Production Planning . Press Enter.

• A Production Planning window will appear.

• Select 'From Current Stock'.

• An Items window will appear.

• Select the Product (For which the production planning needs to be done).

• Suppose, select Computer.

• A Production Planning window will appear.

• Mention the No. of quantities (on which the planning needs to be done).

• Suppose, mention '10'

• Now press 'ESC' key.

• Select View/Print/Excel as per the requirement.

• Suppose, select 'View'.

Thereafter you will get the information about how many quantities of Raw material do the user need? to produce defined qty (10) of final product (Computer).

B. From Vendor Stock 

• Go to Transactions > BOM > Production Planning. Press Enter.

• A 'Production Planning' window will appear.

• Select 'From Vendor Stock'.

• A 'Ledgers' window will appear.

• Select the Vendor ( Manufacturer) from the list.

• Suppose, select 'Production Department'.

• An 'Items' window will appear.

• Select the Product (For which the production planning needs to be done).

• Suppose, select 'Computer'.

• A 'Production Planning' window will appear.

• Mention the 'No. of quantities' (on which the planning needs to be done).

• Now press 'ESC' key.

• Select View/Print/Excel as per the requirement.

• Suppose, select 'View'.

Thereafter you will get the information about how many quantities of Raw material do the user need? and how many remains left with the production department to produce defined qty (10) of final product (Computer).
