A budget can be defined as the plan set by the firm for the flow of funds running in a particular organization.

Budget can be altered according to policies and procedures of the firm and is divided among accounts and budget control groups.

In order to set Party wise Budget, the user needs to follow the below steps:

• Go to Masters > Ledger Master > Budget.

• A 'Budgets' window will appear.
• Select the Party for which the budget needs to be set.
• Suppose select 'Ahuja Medicine Centre'.

• An 'Ahuja Medicine Centre' window will display.

• Here, the user will specify budget amount for each month as per the requirement.

• In order to specify party budget amount for each month, the user will press 'Enter' key.

• Enter the Budget amount.

• Suppose mention '5000' for Sep month and press 'ESC' key to exit.

After follow the above steps, the user can set Budget for a particular Party in Marg Software.
