Process To Replace Rack No With Barcode In Marg ERP Software

Note: Currently, the software does not have a direct process for importing the rack number in Item Master. Therefore, firstly the user needs to Import the Rack number in the Barcode Field and then replace the Barcode Field with the Rack No via direct Command.

Process To Import Rack No In Barcode Field In Marg ERP Software

• Go to Reports > Management Report > Utilities > Copy.

• The user will select 'Item Master Method' to add the command in the method for importing rack numbers.

• The user will add a command of Barcode to import rack no in barcode field.

• After creating the method click on 'Item Master Import'.

• The user will select the directory and file through which the Rack number needs to be imported from Excel file.
• Click on 'Select' button.

• Thereafter, the Rack No will be imported into the Barcode Field.

Process To Replace Rack No With Barcode In Marg ERP Software

• Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Advance Features > Self Designed Reports.

• In 'Report' option, the user will mention the name of the report as per the requirement.
• Suppose mention 'A'.

• Mention the description of the command as per the requirement.
• Suppose mention 'Self Command'.

• Click on 'Open Program'.

• Now, firstly the user needs to find the field name of the 'Barcode' and 'Rack No'. Take any of the item names, in our case, we are taking Item 'Borolin'.
• The user will type the command.
• SELECT PRO
• SET FILT TO BILLNAME='BOROLIN'
• BROWS
• Now press 'Ctrl+W' key.

• Click on 'Run Program'.

• After importing Rack no in the Barcode field. The user can view 'AB01' field name is 'Rackno'.
• So, the barcode field name is 'Rackno'.

• Item Rack no actual field name is 'Rackno2'.

• After checking the fields the user will click on cross icon to close the window.

• Again click on 'Open Program'.

• Now the user will mention '*' key to hide the commands.

• The user will type the command to replace the Barcode with Rack no. in Item Master.
• REPLACE ALL RACKNO2 WITH RACKNO
• Press 'Ctrl+W' key.

• Click on 'Run Program'.

• The user can view Rack No. will get updated in Item Master.

Process to Remove Barcode field

• Now, to remove the Barcode in all Item Master, the user needs to run a direct command.

• Click on 'Open Program'.

• Mention '*' key to hide the command earlier commands.

• Type the command.
• REPLACE ALL RACKNO WITH ' '
• Press 'Ctrl+W' key.

• Click on 'Run Program'.

• Thereafter, the user can view Barcode will get deleted from Item Master.
