If Dr / Cr Mismatch in some A / C Entry alert appears while Importing data in Tally Software then how to resolve it in Marg Software ?

Cause:

This issue appears when Dr and Cr value does not match or not post properly.

In order to resolve Dr/Cr Mismatch in some A/C Entry, the user needs to follow the below steps:

  • Click on 'Exit' button on the main screen of the software.

  • A 'List of Companies' window will appear.
  • The user will press 'Enter' key on the selected company whose data needs to be import.
  • Suppose select 'Marg GST'.

  • A window will appear, where the user will click on 'Error Checkings & Rewriting'.

  • A 'Check Error for Financial Year' window will appear.
  • Press 'Enter' key on the selected financial year.
  • Suppose select '2022-2023'.

  • A 'Maintaining & Indexing Files' will start running.

  • A 'Marg Self Doctor' window will appear.
  • The user will press 'Enter' key on 'Check & Rewrite Stock Books'.

  • Now the user will press 'Enter' key on 'Check & Rewrite Account Books'.

  • The user can view an error file will get generate.

  • The user will click Excel icon to generate the error file in excel.

  • A 'Select Delimeter Line/Header' window will appear.
  • Press 'PageDown' key.

  • The errors will get generated in Excel file, now the user needs to check Invoice No and Rectify the error.
  • Thereafter again Export Marg Data and Import in Tally Software.

After following the above steps, the Dr/Cr Mismatch in some A/C Entry will get resolved and Marg Data will get Import in Tally Software.
