At the time of click on any Departmental report software showing alert “You are not authorized for use this option”

Overview : When the user needs to view the report of a departmental store, sometimes a message will appear on screen “You are not authorized to use this option”.

In order to resolve that issue, follow the below steps:

Firstly, view the screenshot of that particular alert that appears when the user tries to open the departmental report.

To resolve that, go to Masters > Passwords & Powers >Update Operator’s Powers

Select the user from the list of users and press enter key. 

Then list of options under user powers will appear. Select the option “Search in All” from the list.

Mention “Stock” under the search tab from the popup window.

Go to the option of “Stocks & Registers” from the list, specify “Y” from the drop down.

Press esc key from the keyboard after making the required changes.

Again, press esc key to save the changes which the user has made.

A window to save changes will appear to you. Click “Yes” from that options.

Then again, the list of users will appear. Press esc key from the screen.

A popup will come to quit from that screen. Select “Yes” on that window.

Then press Ctrl + U to re login in the software and view the changes which was done in users. 

This window to enter username and password will appear. Mention the same on the screen.

In next window, user’s other settings will appear. Press enter on that screen to welcome in the software and view the changes.
