Overview of Update GST Patch in Marg ERP Software

• In Marg ERP Software, the user has to upload monthly and yearly GST returns on the government portal. However, when new rules, changes, or guidelines are issued by the government, the user needs to update them accordingly. Marg ERP Software provides a provision for the user to download and update the GST Patch.

Process to Update GST Patch in Marg ERP Software

Important Note: From the latest version of the software (15.09.2021), all the patches of the software will be auto updated with the help of Server EXE. But the users who are using the old version of the software (before 15.09.2021) needs to update the patch by following the below mentioned steps.

• Go to the Marg ERP Site: www.margcompusoft.com.

• Click on 'Downloads'.

• The user will scroll down the page and can view all Patches and tools.

• The user will click on 'Download' option on a particular patch that needs to be downloaded.
• Suppose select 'GST files and GST Patch'.

• Thereafter, the user will press 'Ctrl+C' key to copy the downloaded file.

• Now, the user will 'Right Click' on Marg Icon created on the Desktop and click on ‘Open File Location’.

• Paste the copied file by press 'Ctrl+V' key.

• The user can view Patch has been updated in folder.

• Now, right-click on the file and click on 'Extract Here'.

• Click on 'Yes To All' to update the zip file.

• Similary the user will right-click on 'GST' and click on 'Extract Here' button.

After following the above steps, the user can download and update GST Patch in Marg ERP Software.
