Process to Update GST Or VAT Patch in Marg Software

OVERVIEW Of UPDATE GST OR VAT PATCH IN MARG SOFTWARE

• The user has to upload monthly and yearly GST Returns on the Government Portal.
• However, when a new rule is issued, or changes have been done or new guidelines are issued from the government then the user needs to update these changes.
• Marg ERP Software has a provision for the user to download and update GST Patch.

PROCESS TO UPDATE GST OR VAT PATCH IN MARG SOFTWARE

Important Note: From the latest version of the software (15.09.2021), all the patches of the software will be auto updated with the help of Server EXE. But the users who are using the old version of the software (of before 15.09.2021) needs to update the patch by following the below mentioned steps..

Firstly the user will download the patch from Marg ERP website.

Download Vat Patch (Click Here)

Download GST Patch (Click Here)

Download Gst Files (Click Here)

• Suppose downloaded GST patch.

• The user will go to 'Downloads' folder and copy that downloaded patch by pressing 'Ctrl+C' key.

• Then, Go to Marg Folder > Right Click on Marg Icon > Open file location. Press 'Enter' key.

• The Marg folder will open where user needs to paste the copied patch by pressing 'CTRL+V' key.

• Now the pasted folder can be viewed .

• The user will Right Click on the Zip file to Extract it.

• Suppose right click on GST Zip file .

• The user will select 'Extract Here'.

• The user can view that the ZIP file has been extracted in the Marg Folder.

• Similarly, the user will extract the 'Gst Files' in Marg Software.

• Now the software will get started again.

• Thereafter software shows an alert 'GST. Zip available for updation, want to update?' in which user needs to select 'Yes' to update the file.

After following the above steps, the patch will get updated in the Marg software.
