How to Change Rates on MRP Bases & Import HSN in Marg ERP 9+ Software

In order to change the rates of the items, go to Masters > Ease of GST Adoption > Item GST%/HSN/RATES Updation

Click “Accept”

Press F3 function key. Enter “Yes”.

Here, the user can view some formulas as mentioned below:

RATE=RATE*5/100

RATE=MRP*.7619

RATE=MRP+MRP*5/100

RATE=MRP*100/(100+5)

RATE=RATE*.7619

RATE=RATE*100/(100+5)

If the user selects a particular formula then Marg software calculates according to that particular formula and finally change the rates into + & -.

For that the user will select a desired formula like RATE=RATE*5/100. If the user needs to decrease the sales rate then define the “-“symbol along with the desired percentage. And if the user needs to increase the sales rate then define the desired percentage.

For example, if the user define 3 in Sales Rate column and Purchase column then the calculation will be done accordingly as shown in fig. 1.8.

Now press Escape and Select “Change” in order to change the rates.

The rates have been changed on the MRP basis according to the formula which the user had selected.

How to Import Product Excel Sheet with GST Tax%/Rate & HSN Code provided by the Respective Companies in Marg ERP 9+ Software

For importing the Product Excel Sheet, go to Masters > Ease of GST Adoption>>Import HSN/GST%/RATE from Excel

Then browse the company Excel Sheet, click on it and enter “Select”.

Here, the user can preview the list of items which are imported in the Marg ERP 9+ Software.

A window will appear with following options:

Record from: The data in the excel sheet is starting from 2nd line as shown here.

Item Name: The item column is in B Column, so Define as “B” here.

HSN Code: The HSN Code is in E Column so, Define as “E” here.

IGST /Full Tax: Since company has not defined the CGST & SGST %, define the GST rate column i.e. “D”.

Item Code-Numeric (ID):

Item Code-Alpha/Numeric:

HSN Name: The HSN Name is in C Column so define as “C” here.

SGST & CGST:  Marg Software will automatically divide the GST rates into SGST & CGST. So, leave both options as blank.

Rate A, Rate B & Rate C: The user can enter rates of the items/products according to the excel sheet format received from their respective companies.

Purchase Rate: The user can enter Purchase rate of the items/products according to the excel sheet format received from their respective companies.

MRP: The user can enter MRP Rate of the items/products according to the excel sheet format received from their respective companies.

Items 1-All 2-Unmatched: If the user needs to match all the items then select “1” else select “2”.

Update Item Tax Master: To import HSN Code, set this option to “No”. In order to import GST Tax also on items, set this option to “Yes”.

Now, the user needs to map these imported item/product list of own software with the list received by the company.

For example, Crocin Pain Relief is the product of the company. The user will map this particular item with the item in his software. In order to map, the user will press enter and select the Software’s item.

Similarly, the user can map the items/products with his software’s item in which he is dealing in with that particular company.

After the process of mapping, press “Escape” and then select “Yes” to save the changes.
