How to resolve an alert of ' Wrong Server define in Control Room' in Marg Software?

In Marg Software, if at the time of billing an error displays 'Wrong Server defined in Control Room'  then this issue can be resolved:

In order to resolve this issue, the user will follow the below steps:

  • Firstly, Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room. 


  • A 'Control Room' window will appear.
  • The user will select ‘Search in All’.

  • A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will Search 'Server'.
  • Click on ‘Accept’.

  • A 'Server' window will appear.
  • In Date Server Name' option, the user can view a name of server is already defined with this option.

  • The user needs to remove the server name which is mentioned with this option.

  • The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

  • Then click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the error of 'Wrong Server defined in Control Room' will be resolved.

Cause

This issue appears due to wrong sever name defined in server.exe file.

Solution

To resolve this issue, the user needs to follow below steps:-

1. Press 'F10' key on server.exe file. If the server.exe file is not open then the user will Go to that drive where Marg software is installed.

2. Open 'Marg folder' and then user will search 'Server' and press 'Enter' key on server file.

3. Press 'Enter' key thrice.

4. Now, press 'F10' key on server window.

5. Then remove the character which is defined beside of the Local server name field.

6. Press 'Ctrl+W' key to save changes.
