Overview of Backup of Financial Year in Marg ERP Software

• While using accounting software, security of data is as important as its accuracy. It is necessary to ensure that the data remains secure for smooth working of organization.

• There can be circumstances in which the data may get corrupted. In such a case, if there is a backup of data, then it can be restored from the backup and the work can be continued without any hindrance.

Important Note : Before taking Financial Year Backup, few things were kept on mind :

1. If software is running on multi user environment, then software must be turned off from all the Clients / Nodes connection.
2. Close Server File  i.e. Auto Backup file.

Process to Take Backup of Financial Year in Marg ERP Software

• Firstly, press 'Alt+X' key on the Main screen of the software.

• Press 'F8' or 'Enter' key on the selected company.

• The user will select 'Backup of financial Year'. Press 'Enter' key.

• The user will select the financial year for which the user needs to take the backup.

• Press 'Enter' key.

• Now the software will automatically pick the path of the backup where the user have taken the backup previously, however, if the user needs to change the path of the backup then simply press 'F10' key.

• Then keep pressing 'Enter' key on this window.

• Now the software will start transferring the backup file to the selected location.

After following the above steps, the user can Take Financial Year Backup in Marg ERP Software.
