Process To Set Date Jump Forward Date For Payment In Marg Software

OVERVIEW OF DATE JUMP FORWARD DATE FOR PAYMENT IN MARG SOFTWARE

• Marg Software has a feature in which data entry for the particular voucher type can be restricted on the bases of number of days.
• Suppose the created entry for date 01-07-2023. Now the user wants to allow data entry only for 2 days i.e., for '02-07-2023' and '03-07-2023'. After this date on 04-07-2023 it will not allow to create entry for that particular Voucher Type.

PROCESS TO SET DATE JUMP FORWARD DATE FOR PAYMENT IN MARG SOFTWARE

• Go to Masters > Passwords & Powers > Freez Data.

• A ‘Freez Data’ window will appear.
• In ‘Payment Type’, the user can view Last Date is ’01-07-2023’ (software will auto take this date as per the Last payment entry created in the software).

• In ‘Date Jump forward Date’, the user will mention number of days which needs to be jump from last date entry.
• Suppose mention ‘2’ and click on ‘Accept’.

• Now, the user can view in Payment Voucher ‘Payment Can’t Jump after 01-07-2023’ an alert will appear if the user creates entry for the date ‘04-07-2023’.

After following the above steps, the user can set Date Jump Forward Date for Payment in Marg Software.
