If Sale or Purchase entries are not being posted in Party's Ledger then how to resolve it in Marg Software?

If after saving the sale & purchase bill, software is not posting those bills in the party's Ledger then this issue can easily be resolved in Marg Software.

  • Suppose the user has created a sale bill number '0000022' of 'Ahuja Medicine Centre' .

  • And the user can view that the software is not displaying the bill number '00000022' in Ahuja Medicine Centre's ledger'.

In order to post Sale and Purchase entry in Party Ledger, the user needs to follow the below steps:

  • Firstly, Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room.


  • A 'Control Room' window will appear.
  • The user will select ‘Search in all’.

  • A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will Search 'Save in Account'.
  • Now click on ‘Accept’.

  • A 'Save in Account' window will appear.
  • In 'Sale/Purc/Both-[] Inventory entries not save in A/c <#7%>', the user will select the '#7%' and press 'Delete' key on it.

  • Now the user can view that the sign has been removed and press 'Enter' key.

  • The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

  • Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the selected bill (after re-saving) will get posted in the party's ledger.
