How to Set Short and Excess posting in Collection Effect on Party Ledger

Overview: In MARG ERP Software, the user can set short and excess posting in collection effect on party ledger for customization, modification and for the user’s benefit.

Process to set Short and Excess posting in Collection Effect on party ledger:

In order to set Short and Excess posting in Collection Effect on party ledger, the user needs to follow the certain steps:

Firstly, the user has to enable the option from control room.

Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room.

After following the above step, a CONTROL ROOM window will appear in which user will select the SEARCH IN ALL option.

After clicking on the above option i.e. SEARCH IN ALL, a window will appear in which the user will type SHORT in search option and then click on the ACCEPT button.

After clicking on the ACCEPT button, a window will appear with different options of SHORT in which the user will set the Short Amount Posting in collection Effect 1-Party 2-Bank/Cash.........as (1).

After enabling this option from the control room, the user will now save the changes by selecting YES.

By following the above steps, the user can set Short and Excess posting in Collection Effect on party ledger.
