If Alphabets display in Bill Number while viewing Ledger Transaction report then how to resolve it in Marg ERP Software ?

In Marg ERP Software, if alphabets are displayed in the Bill Number while viewing the Ledger Transaction report then it can be resolved easily.

  • Suppose the user go to Books > All ledgers(ALT+L).

  • The user can view a Ledger Transaction report with alphabets before the Bill Number(as shown in below image).

In order to Remove Alphabets in Bill Number, the user needs to follow the below steps:

  • Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.

  • A 'Control Room' window will appear.
  • The user will select ‘Search in all’. 

  • A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will search 'Use Before'.
  • Now click on ‘Accept’.

  • In 'Use word before Bill No. on Ledger Printing' option, the user can view the alphabets mentioned.

  • Remove the alphabet.

  • The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

  • Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the user can view Alphabets will get removed in Bill Number while viewing Ledger Transaction report in Marg ERP Software.
