Process of Direct Calling Feature in Marg ERP Software

OVERVIEW OF DIRECT CALLING FEATURE IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE

  • Marg ERP has provided a very beneficial provision of Direct Calling for Distributors, Retailers and Businessmen that will eliminate the need to manually place calls to their customers/parties again & again to provide them information related to their Outstandings, Sale Bill and for receiving the payments.
  • With the help of Direct Calling feature, the user can easily connect the computer with their mobile and, in one click can place calls to their respective customers/parties.
  • This automated process saves time and also reduces the manual work.

 PROCESS OF DIRECT CALLING FEATURE IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE

This option is been provided in Ledger Accounts, Outstandings, Cash and Book i.e. it is been provided at maximum places in the software wherever there is a requirement of this option.

This option can be used in two different ways:

a. If there is an internet connectivity in the computer, then there is a process for that.

b. If there is no internet connectivity in the computer, then there is a different process for that.

  • Firstly, in order to start its online process, the user will do the setup from the Control Room.
  • For that, go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room.

  • A ‘Control Room’ window will appear. Select ‘Search in All’ option.

  • The user will search ‘Order Calling’ in ‘Search’ field.
  • Then click on ‘Accept’ tab.

  • A ‘Order Calling’ window will appear with different options:

a. Order calling CRM Ask windows to change Mobile number 1- No 2-Yes: It means that whenever the user makes a call to any of the party then the call must be connected to that number which is been mentioned in their Ledger details or in Masters. So, in that case from the drop down, the user will set as ‘1’.

  • And if the user wants that the software must ask before calling to any party that whether the user would like to call on the mentioned number or want to change the number then in that case the user will set this option as ‘2’. The user will set this as per the requirement.
  • For now, the user will set here ‘1’ i.e. the software will connect the call to that number only which is been mentioned in the ledger detail of the party or is updated in the Masters.

b. CRM work on 1 Operator History 2-Salesman 3-Area 4. Rout 5-Station: Here, the user will select ‘2’ i.e. CRM will Sales wise get open for the first time.

c. Call 1-Direct 2- QR Code Manual Calling [Marg Order Calling App required]: It means if the user wants that whatever ledger details is been mentioned in the software; so as when the user will select any party then the call must be connected automatically to the selected party.

  • So, in this case the user will set ‘1’ from this dropdown.
  • And if the user wants that the call must be connected to the parties one by one after scanning the QR Code through the mobile scanner.
  • So, in that case the user will set this field as ‘2’.
  • For now, set this option as ‘1’ as the user is doing the process of Direct calling with the internet connectivity.

If there is internet connectivity in mobile and system then in that case the user can enable any of the two options i.e. Direct or QR Code and can call to their parties.

But if there is no internet connectivity then in that case the user can scan only the QR Code from mobile and can call to their parties.

  • Now press ‘Escape’ key and by saving the changes, come to the main screen of the software.

Now the user will click on 'Yes'.

  • The user will run the file maintenance once.

  • Now the user can view that the file maintenance is being processing.

  • As it is already been told in the starting that the option of direct calling is been provided at maximum places in the software wherever the ledger details of the parties are been mentioned i.e. Ledger account, Sale bill, Outstanding and so on.

  • So let’s see the process of direct calling through the medium of ledger account.
  • For that firstly, download the Marg Order Calling App from the play store which is absolutely free of cost.

  • Then go to the ‘Ledger Accounts’ in the software.
  • Here, the user can view a call icon which is been shown at the bottom side.

  • Now, if there is an internet connectivity in computer then as the user will click on this call icon, a screen of ‘Scan QR Code’ from Marg Order Calling App”’ will be shown to on the computer in which 4 tabs will be given at the bottom side i.e. ‘Done’, ‘Cancel’, ‘QR Code’ and ‘Download App’.

  • As the Marg Order Calling App is already been downloaded in the mobile, the user will simply scan this QR code through the mobile.
  • If in case the user has not downloaded the App then click on ‘Download App’ tab here and scan the QR Code and will download the Marg Order Calling App from the Play Store.

  • To download the app the user can scan QR code or can click on link

  • The web-page will get opened from where the user can download the app.

  • Then the user will scan the QR Code which is been shown in the screen with Marg Order calling app that is been installed in the mobile.
  • After scanning the QR Code, the mobile will get connected with the computer device.
  • Now, to whichever party the user needs to call, bring the cursor to that party and then click on the ‘call’ icon given below.

  • An alert message of ‘Do you wish to Call Auto or through QR Code’ will appear.
  • It means that the software is asking that whether to connect the call to the party through auto call or by scanning the QR Code of the party before connecting the call to the party.
  • So, the user will select this as per the requirement i.e. if there is internet connectivity then select any of the option i.e. Auto call or QR Code.
  • And if there is an issue of internet means if there is no internet connectivity then will scan the code through QR Code and call to the parties.
  • For now, click on ‘Auto’ tab.

  • So, in this way the call will get connected and a popup message will also get reflected on the screen i.e. the call is been connected to this party along with the number.

  • In this way, if there is an internet connectivity in mobile and computer then as per the requirement, the user can connect the call to their parties either by ‘Auto’ or ‘QR Code’.
  • This is a one-time process i.e. the user needs to run this process only once in a day. Then directly call to their parties as many times they require with a single click through computer until the user does not close the software.

b. If there is no internet connectivity in the computer, then how the user can connect mobile and computer and call to parties or customers through computer.

  • This process will completely work on the basis of QR code and not on Auto basis i.e. the user has to scan their QR Code in the mobile before connecting the call to the parties.
  • Then the call will get connected to the selected party through the system.

  • And along with it, the user will also set from the control room and see that when call is done to any party then the software must confirm the phone number before connecting the call.
  • If the user needs to modify that number then how it can be changed to the already mentioned number at the same time and can call to the parties.
  • Firstly, go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room.

  • In Search field, search ‘Order Calling’ and click on ‘Accept’.

  • Now set this ‘Order calling CRM Ask windows to change Mobile number 1- No 2-Yes” option to ‘2’
  • And set ‘Call 1-Direct 2- QR Code Manual Calling [Marg Order Calling App required]’ as ‘2’ i.e. QR Code.

  • Now, press ‘Escape’ key, save the changes and come to the home screen of the software.

  • Then the user will run the file maintenance once again.

  • Now go to the ledger window then bring the cursor to that particular party to whom the user needs to call and same click on the ‘call’ icon which is been given below.

  • As the user has set ‘Order Calling CRM Ask Windows to change phone number’ to ‘Yes’ in the control room.
  • Then dial number window will get open.

  • If the user needs to change or update the number of the selected party then can do it as per the requirement.
  • And click on the given dial tab here.

  • As the user will click on the dial tab, the software will askWant to Update in Master’.  So, if the user needs to change this number in Master then click on ‘Yes’.
  • And if the user needs to change the number only for the purpose of calling then click on ‘No’.

  • Then a window will get displayed with 2 options i.e. ‘OK’ and ‘Scan QR Code’.
  • Click on ‘Scan QR Code’.

  • The user will scan the QR Code shown on the screen with Marg Order Calling App which is been installed in the mobile so that the call will get connected to that party or customer to whom the user needs to call.

So, in this way the user can scan the QR Code and connect the call to the party as per the requirement.

And similarly through Outstandings, Sale bill and Call Scheduler option of Order calling, the user can follow any of the process i.e. online or offline and can connect the call to their parties or customers.
