Error Checking & Re-writing option enable the user to make the data correct which has been mismatched due to the sudden log out from the software, due to improper shut down of the system etc. 

In order to Run Error Checking, the user will follow the below steps:-

• Firstly, click on the 'Exit' button on the Main screen of the software.

• A 'List of Companies' window will appear.

• Select the Company in which the user needs to run error checking and press 'Enter/F8' key on selected company.
  

• Now, select the 'Error Checking & Rewriting' option.

• A 'Check Error for Financial Year' window will appear

• Press 'Enter' key on the selected financial year.

• The Maintaining and Index Files will get started.

• In next window the user select 'Check & Rewrite Stock Books'.

• Now, a Self doctor indexing window will appear.

• Then the user will select 'Check & Rewrite Account Books'.

• Now, a Self doctor indexing window will appear.

After following the above steps, the user can Run the Error Checking in Marg Software.
