Cause

This alert appears when Exclude misc. expenses from the bill option does not select while generating GSTR1 return.

Solution

To resolve this issue the user has to follow the below steps:

1. Go to Taxation > GSTR1. Press Enter.

2. A GST Summary window appears. Feed date range. Click on Show.

3. Click on GSTR 1 Returns.

4. A GSTR1 window will appear. Select 'GSTN excel Template' and tick the 'Exclude misc. expenses from bill'.

5. Now, click on Start to generate GSTR 1 in excel.

6. In the next window, the user will click on 'Ok'.

If Exclude Misc. Expenses from Bill option is not highlighted while generating GSTR 1,then user needs to follow the below steps

1. Go to Taxation > GSTR Settings. Press Enter.

2. A GSTR Settings window will appear. In 'Exclude Misc. Expenses from Bill Amount' set "Yes".

3. Then click on Okay.

4. An alert "Setting saved" will appear. Click on Ok.
