Now, the user needs to pass two entry of accounts:

Process to Pass Payment Voucher entry in Marg Software

PROCESS TO PASS JOURNAL VOUCHER ENTRY IN MARG SOFTWARE

• Go to Accounts> Voucher Entry > Journal > Journal

• The user will mention the Date as per the requirement.

• Suppose mention '31-3-2022'.

• Now, the user will select the 'Dr' and press 'Enter' key.

• The user will select the Tax Ledger as per the requirement.

• Suppose select 'SGST Sales Tax 14%' and press 'Enter' key on it.

• The SGST Sales Tax 14% will get load and the user will mention the whole amount of the Ledger.

• Similarly, the user will load All SGST and CGST Sales Tax % with their respected amount. (as shown below).

• Now, the user will select 'Cr'.

• The user will Load all 'SGST' and 'CGST' Purchase Tax Ledgers with the same amount as in Ledger.

• The user needs to calculate the Balancing figure of SGST Sale/Purchase and CGST  Sale/Purchase.

• (All SGST Sale Tax% - All SGST Purchase Tax%) = 233846.65

• (All CGST Sale Tax% - All CGST Purchase Tax%) = 233846.65

• Now, the user will load 'SGST' and 'CGST' payable Ledger with the balancing figure.

• Press 'Ctrl+W' key to save the entry.

PROCESS TO PASS PAYMENT VOUCHER ENTRY IN MARG SOFTWARE

• Now, Go to Accounts > Voucher Entry > Payment > Payment.

• The user will mention the 'Date' as per the requirement.

• Suppose mention '31-3-2022'.

• The user will select 'Dr' and load the 'Payable' Ledger with the balancing Figure.

• Suppose select 'CGST Payable'.

• Similarly, Load the 'SGST Payable' Ledger.

• Now, the user will select 'Cr'.

• The user will select the 'Ledger' through which mode the user needs to Pay the Tax to Government.
• Suppose select 'Cash'.

• The software will auto pick the amount in 'Cash' Ledger.(as shown below).

• The user will press 'Ctrl+W' key and click on 'Save' to save the entry.

After following the above steps, the user can Pass the Payment entry to Govt. for Tax in Marg Software.
