If Outward Taxable Supply ( other than zero-rated / Nil rated and exempted ) displays Negative in GSTR 3B then how to resolve in Marg Software ?

Cause:

This issue appears when the Taxable value of Sale Return is more than the Taxable value Sale in a particular period.

  • Suppose the user is viewing GSTR3b for 'Jan' Month.
  • Outward taxable supplies (other than zero-rated, Nil rated and exempted) is negative '-13711.45'.

  • Now generate the Sale Book for Jan Month, the user can view Total Taxable value is '1288.55'.

  • Thereafter generate Sale Return for Jan Month, the user can view Total Taxable Value is '15000'.

  • Sale Taxable Value - Sale Return Taxable Value = Outward Supplies
  • 1288.55 - 15000 = -13711.45

When the Return is more than the sale for a particular period, then the Outward taxable supplies (other than zero-rated, Nil rated and exempted) will displays Negative in GSTR 3B report in Marg Software.
