How to Add Tax to the Cost of an Item in Marg Software ?

  • Firstly, Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room. Press Enter.


  • Control Room window will appear.
  • The user will select ‘Search in all’. Press Enter.

  • Controls window will appear in which the user will Search “Input Tax”.
  • Click on ‘Accept’.

  • An Input Tax window will appear.
  • In 'If Y/G in Gst Credit Purchase Cost of Item = Item Cost + Input GST' optionthe user will select 'Y'.

  • The user will now press Esc key twice.

  • Then click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the user can view that the tax is been added in the cost of an item.
